CORE (ACCP)

 The CORE, is designed for beginning KKHS students who plan to pursue courses/careers in the Arts and Communication Career Pathway. Students will be introduced to basic concepts in Visual, Performing, Written, and Media Arts.  
 
 Using an interdisciplinary approach, the following concepts will be covered:  
1) Innovation 
2) Legal and Ethical Issues 
3) Communication 
4) Aesthetics 
5) Problem Solving  
6) Safety 

 This course is a prerequisite for students pursuing a Career and Technology Education program of study in Arts and Communication. At KKHS, the core instructors are Mr. Ripani (Digital Media) and Mr. Arakawa (Graphic Arts). The core classes are taught by both instructors, time frame one semester each with rotation there after.
